Woman Injured in Late Night Robbery Related Shooting in Las Vegas

A woman was injured in a shooting that police believe was connected to a robbery late Monday night in Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 10:11 p.m. in the 5700 block of West Charleston Boulevard near Jones Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her back. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where her injuries were described as non life threatening.
Police said the suspects fled the area in a dark colored sedan. As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been announced. Detectives continue to investigate the incident, and additional details have not been released.
