NEVADA – The Reno Police Department said that two persons were injured when a car crashed into a tree on Mira Loma Drive Wednesday evening (RPD).
On February 8, at approximately 5:17 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident near Longley Lane and Mira Loma Drive.
The RPD reports that the Corvette was traveling south when it struck a tree. One individual was thrown from the vehicle, while the other was stuck inside; both were carried to the hospital with unknown injuries and conditions. RPD said that speed appeared to be a role in this collision.
There is no expected time of reopening between Desoto Way and Mira Loma Drive; drivers are advised to avoid the area.
