NEVADA – Five Nevada high school graduates described why they painted American flag parking spaces on “Fox & Friends First” on Friday.
“I did this because I’m from a military family and love our nation and want to show it. Nothing beats our daily parking place for visual appeal “Marcus Shambaugh, Rusty Hendricks, Ethan Winter, Trevor Witter, and Joey Boss remarked.
“Hopefully I get in and can serve my nation for 30 years or more.”
Moapa Valley High School seniors needed three or four days to finish, said Hendricks.
The whole town likes it, remarked Winter.
“A lot of people want those seats next year, maybe to keep them or add to them,” he said.
“Fox & Friends First” co-host Todd Piro said that young people’s negative sentiments toward America have been widely publicized.
“We do many stories about America and our youth. Marcus. Rusty. Trevor and Joey. You’re welcome. Good success in the future.”
Witter, who aspires to join the military, sees the parking places as a chance to display his patriotism.
