A Car Reportedly Hit and Killed a Pedestrian Near Fallon
NEVADA – There has been a fatality after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the Fallon area.
At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Nevada State Police responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of US-50 and Roberson Road.
The State Police have concluded from their early investigation that a Toyota Truck struck a person who was walking in the second travel lane on US-50.
The possibility of intoxication contributing to the accident is discounted.
While Nevada State Police conduct an investigation, westbound lanes will be stopped temporarily.
Local motorists are being urged by state police to seek alternate routes.
