
Pedestrian in Wheelchair Killed After Being Hit by a Car Near Cheyenne, Jones

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – A person in a wheelchair was killed in an accident on Monday morning.
A person in a motorized wheelchair was struck by a 2011 Nissan Altima at the intersection of W. S. Cheyenne Avenue and Cheyenne Avenue Rowland Avenue.
The pedestrian was taken to UMC Trauma and proclaimed dead there.
According to LVMPD, the Nissan Altima driver remained at the site and showed no indications of impairment.
According to LVMPD, the pedestrian’s death is the 110th traffic-related fatality in the jurisdiction of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department this year.
The crash is still being investigated.
