Due To Adverse Weather, Western Nevada College To Delay Opening

NEVADA – Due to bad weather, officials at Western Nevada College have decided that the Carson City campus and the Child Development Center will not open on Monday, January 30.
At 10 a.m., both the Carson City campus and the CDC will be open for business.
The Fallon and Douglas campuses of the college will open as usual at 8 a.m., and online classes will go on as planned.
In other news, the University of Nevada, Reno will not start non-essential campus operations until 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 30.
Web classes and operations from afar will go on as planned. Due to dangerous road conditions, physical locations will open at 10 a.m. Before 10 a.m., there are no in-person classes.
Building A at 18600 Wedge Pkwy. on the Redfield campus is also delayed and will open at 10 a.m. The Wayne L. Prim Campus of the University of Nevada at Lake Tahoe has also put off starting non-essential campus activities until 10 a.m.
