NEVADA – Early on Sunday, the Carson City Fire Department extinguished a blaze at a mobile home.
On the night of November 6th, firefighters were called to the 3600 block of Sherman Lane, where a mobile home had caught fire. When the first firefighters arrived, they found a mobile home engulfed in flames.
Twenty minutes later, the fire was contained thanks to the efforts of 17 firemen.
All of the damage from the fire was done to the original building, and no one was hurt.
The lone tenant managed to get out of the burning building before the fire crew arrived. According to authorities, the tenant was offered temporary housing aid from the Red Cross but turned it down.
