Upon arriving at the scene, deputies conducted a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle. During the detainment, they discovered a loaded handgun on the man’s hip. Further search of the vehicle led to the discovery of two additional loaded handguns in the driver’s door pocket and a rifle accompanied by four loaded high-capacity magazines in the trunk.
Notably, possession of the specific rifle found is illegal in California, and transporting it across state lines is considered a felony offense. Additionally, officers uncovered an assortment of prescription bottles and plastic bags containing a substantial quantity of pills during the vehicle search.

As a result, Alexander faces charges including carrying a loaded firearm in public, illegal possession of a rifle, transporting the rifle, and possession of a controlled substance. The Sheriff’s Office has indicated that several other associated offenses have been filed against him as well.
