NEVADA – The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol posted on Facebook to remind drivers to slow down for first responders after a trooper vehicle was hit by four cars while responding to an incident early Sunday morning.
Nevada State Police said, “As a reminder, please slow down.” “This morning, a Nevada State Trooper’s car was hit while he was inside it and on his way to a scene on I-80 near Lockwood.”
Police kept writing that the trooper’s car had been hit by one car at first. But three more cars that were “going too fast for winter conditions” hit the trooper’s car three more times.
Police say that no one, including the Trooper, was hurt in the accident.
Police said, “Please slow down and move over for our first responders and everyone else on the road.” “Winter weather is still going on, so please drive carefully.”
