NEVADA – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office sprang into action on Saturday morning to rescue two passengers who were involved in a plane crash at Lake Tahoe. The incident occurred at around 10:18 a.m. when authorities received a distress call reporting a fixed-wing airplane crashing into the water at Rubicon Bay.

Upon arrival, the Sheriff’s Office discovered that one of the passengers had sustained a serious head injury. Efforts were immediately initiated to provide medical assistance and ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
