Reno Police Arrest a Man Who Is Suspected of Killing Another Man in Downtown Reno Sunday
NEVADA – A man is in custody on suspicion of murder after a Sunday afternoon shooting in downtown Reno.
It was at 4:15 p.m. when the event occurred on First Street and Lincoln Alley.
An unidentified man was located by police with gunshot wounds, but he died before paramedics could take him to the hospital. It’s conceivable that gunshot fragments injured a second person, but their wounds were mild.
27-year-old Nicholas Nevarez is in custody for questioning in connection with the death. He was arrested and put into the Washoe County Jail on charges of murder with a dangerous weapon and concealed carry.
The investigation is still ongoing.
