RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission staff and volunteers knocked on multiple doors to bring holiday happiness to people in need.
Imagine having that knock on the door, but instead of someone begging for something, they are bringing you things out of the goodness of their heart.
The Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission has begun their yearly acts of kindness. Every year, they visit different communities to provide food, gifts, and warm clothing.
Homes are chosen at random, and families must be there and open the door to accept the presents. Families are not required to sign up, and items are distributed to those who want them.
For the past ten years, the charity has sent food and other goods, bringing delight to some local residents.
This year, 200 turkeys and 200 shopping bags including food, clothing, and toys were distributed to local families.
