South Lake Tahoe, CA – Authorities are investigating the deaths of four individuals found unresponsive in a South Lake Tahoe residence on Monday morning. While the cause of death remains under investigation, initial findings suggest a possible drug overdose.
Details of the Incident:
- On February 12th, 2024, at approximately 9:11 am, emergency responders were called to a residence on Roger Avenue for an unresponsive person.
- Upon arrival, paramedics discovered two individuals deceased and attempted life-saving measures on two others, ultimately unsuccessful.
- All four individuals, three men and one woman between the ages of 30 and 40, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
- While the investigation is ongoing, police suspect substance abuse may have played a role, but confirmation awaits toxicology reports.
Investigation and Cooperation:
- The South Lake Tahoe Police Department is leading the investigation and expects to release further information as it becomes available.
