UPS in Reno Will Be Hiring Around 400 Additional Staff Members

NEVADA – The shipping company recently implemented a digital-first hiring procedure, which eliminates the need for interviews and can result in a job offer in as little as 25 minutes.

UPS claims that they can fill 80% of their seasonal roles without conducting any interviews.

The company is offering reasonable compensation across several shifts in hundreds of sites across the country in order to fill full and part-time seasonal roles, principally seasonal delivery and CDL drivers, package handlers, and driver helpers. If you apply early enough, there are also permanent employment available in some sectors. The starting hourly wage for seasonal work as a package car driver or tractor-trailer driver is $21.
