
Verdi Brush Fire Contained Near Nevada/California Border

Verdi, NV – Firefighters swiftly contained a small brush fire near the Nevada/California border on Monday morning. The fire was successfully extinguished by crews on the south side of the river at approximately 8 a.m. on June 19.
Authorities from Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue (TMFR) confirmed that no structures were damaged and no injuries were reported in relation to the incident.
Thanks to the prompt response and coordinated efforts of the firefighting teams, the potentially dangerous situation was effectively managed, minimizing the impact on the surrounding area.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation to ensure there are no flare-ups or lingering hazards.
