RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Chain controls are advised in the mountains through the weekend, and a winter storm warning is in effect from Friday am until Monday morning in the Sierra.
By Sunday morning, a bigger wave will have arrived, bringing with it 1 to 2 feet of snow in the mountains, 8 to 16 inches in Lake Tahoe, and a few inches in our lowlands.
By Monday and Tuesday, our lowlands get rain showers instead of snow, but the mountains continue to experience snowfall.
The coming week will also have active weather.
