A Teen Girl and Her Boyfriend Were Shot in the Summerlin Area, Police Says

After driving into a Summerlin area on Sunday night, a teenage girl and her boyfriend were both hit by gunshots.
The juvenile girl was driving the car with her boyfriend, and there were two other occupants in the rear seat, according to Las Vegas Metro police. When they pulled into a neighborhood around Palo Brea Drive and Villa Marabella Street, a few blocks from Palo Verde High School, two males opened fire on the teen girl and her boyfriend.
The teenager was able to drive to the parking area of the Red Rock Hotel & Casinos, where help was summoned at 11:21 p.m., according to police.
The adolescent and her boyfriend were taken to the hospital, where the guy underwent surgery. According to police, their injuries are not life-threatening.
There were no more information revealed about the shooting.
