Hit-And-Run Kills Bicyclist on E. Charleston

LAS VEGAS- A fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bike in the east valley is being investigated by Las Vegas police. From Oahu Street to Sandhill Road, Charleston Boulevard is closed in both directions.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the bicyclist who was hit by the semi-truck died at the site.
The incident was reported around 6:51 a.m., according to police, and the semi-truck did not remain at the scene. This is an ongoing inquiry, and the public is asked to avoid the area.
