Man and A Women Wanted by Metro in Connection With Fatal Beating on East Tropicana Avenue
LAS VEGAS – A man and a woman are being sought by Metro police in connection with the apparent beating death of a woman Saturday just east of the University District.
At around 5:30 p.m., a lady was spotted being beaten by a guy near the intersection of East Tropicana Avenue and Tamarus Street, just east of South Maryland Parkway, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. When cops arrived, the man had loaded the woman into a vehicle and departed the scene.
A guy was seen assaulting a lady at the junction of East Tropicana Avenue and Tamarus Street around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
The victim was dropped off at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center just after 6:30 p.m. by a lady driving “the identical vehicle spotted near the first incident,” according to homicide detectives working the investigation.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police. The Clark County Coroner’s Office is investigating her identify.
