A Minor Pedestrian Was Killed in a Car Accident
LAS VEGAS – On Tuesday evening, a kid was killed in a car accident in northeast Las Vegas.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. on East Owens Avenue, east of North Nellis Boulevard.
On Owens, a 2017 Ford F-250 was traveling east. When the truck hit the minor, he was in the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk. According to authorities, the pedestrian was transferred to University Medical Center and died there.
The truck driver remained at the scene and showed no symptoms of impairment.
There was no additional information provided.
