RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – At the Nevada Humane Society, the holidays are a joyous time. There are several opportunities to participate this Christmas, including Santa Pet Deliveries and the Shelter Pet Christmas Dinner.
Nicole Theodoulou, communications manager, joined Morning Break to discuss their “Home for the Holidays” foster and adoption program and to introduce you to Carrie. Carrie is a three-year-old mix breed who recently gave birth to puppies. Carrie’s puppies have all found their permanent homes, and she would be an excellent pet to foster or adopt this holiday weekend. She is highly treat driven, quite intelligent, and enjoys cuddling and watching TV. She is the ideal #BingeBuddy!
If you’re thinking about adopting a pet this holiday season, Santa Deliveries are a sure way to make the entire family happy! When you adopt or foster a pet from Nevada Humane Society on Friday, December 23 or Saturday, December 24, Santa will personally deliver your pet to you and you will be able to take a photo to commemorate the occasion.
Santa’s Schedule:
Reno Shelter:
Friday, December 23 from 11:00am – 6:30pm (we’ll be closed from 2:00-3:00pm for naptime)
Saturday, December 24 from 11:00am – 4:00pm
Carson City Shelter:
Saturday, December 24 from 11:00am – 4:00pm
