NEVADA – On the night of January 14, 2023, Reno Police officers performed an impaired driving saturation patrol in an effort to make the community’s highways safer.
On patrol, seven officers and one Sergeant made 81 stops for suspected drunk driving.
Officers arrested eight people for driving under the influence throughout those investigations. One of the arrests involved a felony. They also issued a number of traffic citations.
The Reno Police Department would like to remind the public always to have a sober driver and to never drive if they are intoxicated.
The Nevada Department of Public Safety/Office of Traffic Safety financed the extra patrol.
