Fatal Shooting at Henderson Party Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

LAS VEGAS – A 22-year-old man died in a shooting at a party in Henderson early Sunday morning, according to the Henderson Police Department.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on the 1100 block of Center Street, where police responded to gunshots being heard in the area.
Upon investigation, police learned that a group of people was attending a party in the area, with several individuals seen carrying guns.
Yelling was reportedly heard from the crowd before gunfire erupted, leaving two people injured.
The 23-year-old man was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, while the 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
This marks the second homicide in Henderson for 2023.
