Western Nevada College Offers Late-Start Online Classes for Spring Semester

NEVADA – Late-start classes are being offered online by Western Nevada College, giving students who missed the spring semester an opportunity to enroll. The college is offering classes in various subjects, including management, American sign language, fingerspelling, biology, drafting, early childhood education, human development and family studies, and Spanish.
Classes are designed to accommodate busy schedules, and short-term and late-start classes will continue to be offered online throughout the spring semester. To become a student at WNC, visit their website at www.wnc.edu/starthere.

Most of the late-start classes will end on May 20. Among the classes being offered are American Sign Language II, IV, and VI; automotive mechanics; MSHA new miner training; human anatomy and physiology; blueprint reading for industry; principles of child guidance; life span human development; change management; changing environments; business plan creation; and second-year Spanish.
Classes begin on March 27 for most courses, but some start later. Interested students should visit the college’s website or contact the admissions office for more information on specific class schedules.
