13-Year-Old Drowning Victim Identified Following Weekend Storms

LAS VEGAS – In the wake of this weekend’s severe storms, the Clark County Coroner’s Office has officially identified a local 13-year-old drowning victim as Ryan Taylor.
The unfortunate incident unfolded on Saturday, September 2, around 3:17 p.m., in the vicinity of the 5600 block of Boulder Highway. According to authorities, Ryan was found in distress while floating on an innertube in floodwaters during the storm.
Swift action was taken to rescue him, and he was subsequently transported to Sunrise Hospital for immediate medical attention. Tragically, despite all efforts, Ryan Taylor passed away the following day.
Following a thorough examination, the Clark County Coroner’s Office has determined that the cause of Ryan’s untimely death was drowning.
