Democrat Candidate for Assembly Associated With And Praised Taliban Sympathizers

Recent research has uncovered concerning information regarding Democratic Assembly District 34 candidate Hanadi Nadeem’s past personal and professional associations.

Recently uncovered social media posts reveal Hanadi Nadeem posted multiple statements of support and admiration for former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, a known Taliban sympathizer.

Khan “urged the world to support the Taliban” in the wake of their hostile takeover of Afghanistan, in which 13 American service members were killed. Khan remarked that the Taliban had “broken the shackles of slavery (from the West)” in their violent, murderous re-capture of Afghanistan.

Since the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal, the Taliban, led by an all-male cabinet, has introduced new and laws banning women from being seen or heard in public, despite their earlier promises to the United Nations and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, that they would include women in their cabinet. The U.N. has accused the Taliban of “gender apartheid.”

Actress Meryl Streep recently warned that “Today in Kabul, a female cat has more freedom than a woman.”

Khan called Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9-11 attacks, in which 2,977 Americans were killed, a “martyr” and infamously refused to go on the record calling Bin Laden a terrorist when pressed in a TV interview.

Nadeem served as President of the APPNA Alliance, a group that has associated with former Pakistani Ambassador Masood Khan, another terrorist sympathizer with known jihadist links.

Members of the U.S. House of Representatives Scott Perry, Gregory Steube, and Mary Miller penned a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland calling Masood a “bona fide terrorist sympathizer” who “clearly supports terrorists.”

The lawmakers warned: “It is vital to US national security that our government investigate any potential Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) violation with regard to Ambassador Khan. He clearly supports terrorists, and if this Administration is happy to provide him with a diplomatic visa, the American People deserve – at the very least – the due diligence from our government for a thorough investigation and answers.”

In 2021, the National Review penned an article entitled, “A Terror Supporter Goes to Washington,” and revealed, “He (Masood Khan) is a dangerous radical with a long history of working with Islamists in the West and jihadists in the East.”

Masood has called the Taliban and similar terror groups “freedom fighters.” He also campaigned for Aafia Siddiqui’s release from prison, calling it “long overdue.” Siddiqui is a terrorist known as “Lady Al-Qaeda” who was convicted and sentenced to 86 years in jail for attempting to murder a U.S. soldier.

Assembly District 34 was represented since 2016 by Democrat Shannon Bilbray-Axelrod who is now running for County Commissioner. According to information provided by the Nevada Secretary of State, independent voters have a slight edge over registered Democrats.

Businessman Brandon Davis has been endorsed as the Republican candidate in AD-34 by Governor Joe Lombardo and Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony, and will face Nadeem Hasani for the open seat, a seat crucial to the Republican minority as they fight to maintain legislative balance in Carson City.
