Juvenile Dies After Shooting in North Las Vegas, Police Say

A juvenile has tragically died following a shooting in North Las Vegas, according to police reports. Officers received reports of gunfire around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Webb Avenue and Davis Place, close to Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
Shortly after the gunshots were reported, North Vista Hospital—located approximately a mile from the shooting scene—notified the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) that a juvenile victim had arrived at the hospital suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Sadly, the juvenile was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Detectives are currently investigating the incident, and while no arrests have been made, the NLVPD believes the shooting was an “isolated incident.”
