Las Vegas Manhunt: Police Search for Armed Suspect Accused of Cold-Blooded Recording Studio Murder

Las Vegas police are on the hunt for a man accused of a deadly shooting near a recording studio in December, an attack authorities say was completely unprovoked. Officers responded to a 911 call around 3 p.m. on December 23 near the Nucleus Plaza Shopping Mall. Disturbingly, the emergency call was left open, allowing dispatchers to hear gunshots in real time, followed by a chilling plea: “I don’t have nothing to do with it.”

When officers arrived, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were rushed to the hospital, but one, identified as Samuel Wiley, did not survive. Detectives later received an anonymous tip that led them to name the suspect as Maalik Wilborn, a man with connections to the recording studio where the shooting took place.

According to witness testimony, Wilborn emerged from a room at the studio and, without provocation, opened fire on Wiley, hitting him in the chest. The second victim, attempting to flee, was also gunned down. Wilborn now faces multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, and battery with a deadly weapon.

Las Vegas Metro Police are urging anyone with information on Wilborn’s whereabouts to come forward, warning that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
