For the past 135 years, Memorial Day has been celebrated as a national holiday- a day for remembering the sacrifices of all those members of our armed forces who died fighting for our nation’s freedom.
In honor of the 646,596 men and women since 1776, who gave their lives to keep the United States of America safe and free, the Nevada Globe staff offers this 2-part Memorial Day tribute.
