Early Morning Murder–Suicide on Boulder Highway Leaves Couple Dead

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a shooting report at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sunday in an apartment located in the 6500 block of Boulder Highway near East Russell Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman suffering from gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene. A man, also found with gunshot injuries, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Investigators from the LVMPD Homicide Section say the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. According to their findings, the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself during the altercation. The identities of both individuals, as well as the official causes and manners of death, are pending the release of autopsy results by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
