LAS VEGAS — Fire crews from multiple agencies responded to a structure fire at a vacant church property in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon, according to local fire officials.

The incident prompted a coordinated response from the Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire & Rescue after multiple reports of smoke and flames coming from the unoccupied building.

Emergency responders arrived on scene and worked to contain the fire, which involved a structure that was not in active use at the time. Officials have not reported any injuries connected to the incident.

The presence of a vacant building raised concerns about potential structural instability and fire spread, which required crews to approach suppression efforts with caution. Firefighters remained on scene to fully extinguish the blaze and secure the property.

Authorities have not released details on the cause of the fire, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Vacant structures continue to pose fire risks across the Las Vegas Valley, often requiring significant emergency resources due to unknown hazards and delayed detection.
