LAS VEGAS, NV — An 18-year-old suspect is back in Clark County and facing a murder charge after being apprehended out of state in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred during a house party last month.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) confirmed that the primary suspect in the violent encounter is now in custody at the Clark County Detention Center.

Fatal Confrontation on Brookhaven Drive

The investigation stems from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of March 12, 2026. Officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of Brookhaven Drive after reports of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, they located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced deceased. According to Homicide Section detectives, the victim had been attending a house party in the area when he walked outside and was approached by a group of individuals. Following a brief verbal exchange, shots were fired, striking the victim before the group fled the scene.

Apprehension and Extradition

Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified 18-year-old Bobby Warren as the suspect in the shooting. Warren was located and taken into custody by the West Sacramento Police Department in California on March 27.

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, Warren was officially extradited back to Las Vegas. He has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center on the following charges:

  • Open Murder with the Use of a Deadly Weapon

  • Carry Concealed Explosive, Gun, or Dangerous Weapon Without a Permit

Ongoing Search for Persons of Interest

While Warren has been charged as the shooter, Metro detectives believe other individuals were present during the confrontation on Brookhaven Drive. Police are continuing to follow leads to identify additional “persons of interest” who may have been involved in the verbal exchange or the flight from the scene.

Anyone with information regarding this homicide is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers of Nevada.
