Border Secured as Trump Administration Delivers Enforcement, Deportations, and Order

After years of chaos, excuses, and surrender under Democrats, the border is no longer broken. It is being enforced.
For the eighth straight month, U.S. Border Patrol has released zero illegal aliens into the United States, a milestone that underscores the dramatic turnaround under President Donald Trump and his administration’s aggressive whole of government approach.
The results are sweeping. Nearly 2.6 million illegal aliens have left the country, including more than 670,000 deported and an estimated 1.9 million who self deported after enforcement was restored and loopholes were shut down.
At the center of the crackdown is U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which has arrested more than 670,000 illegal aliens, including murderers, pedophiles, gang members, terrorists, war criminals, drug traffickers, rapists, and other dangerous criminals. Roughly 70 percent of those arrested either have criminal convictions or pending criminal charges.
ICE has also arrested 1,416 known or suspected terrorists and removed 1,392 of them from the country. More than 7,000 gang members have been taken off the streets, and over 10,000 terror linked cartel or gang affiliates were denied access to the homeland altogether.
To make enforcement permanent, ICE hired 12,000 new personnel, increasing the agency’s size by 120 percent and restoring operational capacity that had been hollowed out in previous years.
Border encounters have collapsed, dropping 95 percent compared to levels seen during the Biden administration. The message is clear. The border is no longer open, and illegal entry no longer comes with a reward.
The Department of Homeland Security has also rebuilt partnerships with state and local law enforcement, securing more than 1,255 signed agreements under Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. These agreements empower local agencies to assist with immigration enforcement and ensure criminals do not slip through the cracks.
In one of the most damning reversals of Biden era neglect, DHS located 132,720 unaccompanied children who had been lost by the previous administration, exposing the real human cost of open border policies.
Internationally, the State Department signed seven Safe Third Country agreements to speed up deportations and revoked more than 100,000 non immigrant visas since January. Visa processing was paused for 75 countries, including Somalia, Russia, and Iran, to overhaul vetting procedures and protect taxpayers from fraud and abuse.
The administration also restricted entry from 39 countries and barred individuals traveling on Palestinian Authority issued travel documents, prioritizing national security over political correctness.
Inside the system, enforcement is being backed by accountability. More than 206 million benefits eligibility checks were conducted to ensure taxpayer funded programs are preserved for Americans, not exploited by illegal immigrants.
Along the southern border, five national defense areas were established to combat drug and human smuggling while limiting environmental damage caused by unchecked foot and vehicle traffic.
The Labor Department launched nearly 200 investigations into companies suspected of abusing the H 1B visa program, protecting American workers from being undercut by cheaper foreign labor. Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation removed more than 11,500 commercial truck drivers who could not speak English and shut down over 6,500 fraudulent CDL training schools.
This is what border security looks like. Enforcement without apology. Results without excuses. A system that once again puts Americans first.
After years of surrender, the United States is back in control of its border.
