ICE COLD LIES: Titus Claims ICE Is “Chasing Babies Into Schools” In Wild TV Rant – Provides Zero Evidence

Rep. Dina Titus raised eyebrows in Nevada after an erratic TV interview in which she accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of “middle-of-the-night raids,” “fear tactics,” “wearing masks,” and even “chasing babies [into] schools.”
None of the claims were supported by evidence.
None were connected to the AP clip being discussed.
And none have been documented by Nevada law enforcement.
Titus’ comments came in response to a question about a video showing ICE pursuing a suspect in Louisiana, but rather than speak to the facts, she launched into a sweeping condemnation of immigration enforcement nationwide.
According to Titus, ICE is now:
- “chasing [people] behind masks,”
- “running into people randomly,”
- “stopping young women coming home from college,”
- and “chasing… babies [into] schools.”
It was a dramatic escalation of rhetoric, even for a congresswoman who has long endorsed sanctuary-style policies.
Nevadans, who overwhelmingly cite illegal immigration and border security as top concerns, may be surprised to hear their representative describing federal enforcement using language better suited for a protest flyer than a congressional interview.
Law enforcement officials in Nevada have repeatedly warned about cartel activity, human smuggling networks, and fentanyl pipelines reaching the state. ICE plays a key role in combating those threats.
Titus, instead, chose to attack the agency with unverified claims and theatrical language.
Nevada’s service workers, hospitality employees, and suburban families want safer communities, not scare-tactic talking points. Titus’ comments reveal a Democrat out of touch with her own district and more interested in activist applause than public safety.
