Grant, once homeless and struggling with addiction, has transformed his life and now dedicates himself to aiding the unsheltered. Drawing from his past experiences, he understands the challenges of escaping street life and addiction. Now sober, employed, and a father, he uses his insights to help others achieve a better life. He founded the Karma Box Project, which provides free pantries, operates a safe camp, resource center, and warming center at the Cares Campus, and runs several outreach teams across Northern Nevada. His approach focuses on meeting individuals where they are, supporting their journey to mental health management, drug-free living, and self-sufficiency.
