Authorities in Las Vegas have arrested a 74-year-old man, identified as Thomas Dodd, on multiple counts of lewdness involving a child under 14, and are investigating whether additional victims may exist. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Dodd met the child’s family through a local church and allegedly hosted the child at his home on July 9, during which inappropriate touching occurred.
Dodd was taken into custody on July 24 and initially faced four charges. He was held at the Clark County Detention Center on $100,000 bail, which he posted, and was subsequently released on July 28. Detectives have asked anyone who believes they may have had contact with Dodd under similar circumstances to come forward.
