A Hit-And-Run Victim in Henderson Is in Critical Condition
A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident in Henderson on Thursday afternoon.
Around 1 p.m., a person was struck by a gold SUV, perhaps a Tahoe or Suburban, traveling south on Boulder highway near Gibson Road, and the driver fled the scene, according to the Henderson police.
The police said the car would have a broken right front bumper, a severely damaged windshield, and a missing right-side mirror.
The woman behind the wheel was portrayed as a heavy-set 30 something year old Black woman with shoulder-length brown hair.
The pedestrian’s survival is “unknown,” according to a police statement.
While authorities are looking into the crash, the area will be off-limits for a while.
Further information has not been made public.
