A Motorcycle Rider Was Hurt in a Collision on Interstate 15 Near Lamb

LAS VEGAS – At about 6:15 on Thursday evening, a motorcyclist collided with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Lamb Boulevard and Nexus Way.

The motorcycle, traveling south, approached the junction and collided with a tractor-trailer, which was still making its turn, as reported by the North Las Vegas police.

The motorcyclist’s driver was reportedly thrown from the bike and severely injured.

The late-20s male was sent to UMC Trauma for treatment. The police have stated that his wounds are not life-threatening.

According to NLVPD, the tractor-trailer driver remained at the site and was unharmed. The police do not think impairment played a role.

As a result of the accident, the southbound lanes of Lamb Boulevard were shut down for a few hours between Tropical and the I-15 intersection.
