A Woman on a Scooter Was Killed in a Hit-And-Run in North Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS – A lady riding a moped was killed in a crash in North Las Vegas on Wednesday night.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of Belmont Street and East Dillon Avenue According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, a truck struck a motorbike and fled the area.
The driver of the moped, a woman in her 40s, died at the scene, according to police. A passenger on the moped in his 40s was transferred to University Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
