City of Henderson Expands Municipal Preschool Program by 55%

HENDERSON, NV — The City of Henderson officially announced a 55.6% expansion of its municipal preschool program for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year to meet unprecedented regional enrollment demand.
The expanded early childhood education rollout adds five new classroom sections across municipal recreation and community centers.
Responding to Suburban Enrollment Growth
According to municipal release filings, preschool enrollment across Henderson’s municipal facilities surged 21.84% over the previous school year.
To accommodate the growing waitlists in suburban residential corridors, city administrators expanded total course offerings from nine to 14 active classroom sections.
