Clark County Parks and Recreation Department to Provide Free Swimming Lessons to Toddlers, North Las Vegas Announces Free Outdoor Movie Series at Parks Across the Area

LAS VEGAS – Clark County Parks and Recreation Department have received a grant from the Southern Nevada Chapter of the International Code Council to provide free swimming lessons to toddlers ahead of the summer season. The department advises that registration for the first session of the summer swim lessons will open on Thursday, May 26. The program aims to ensure children’s safety in the water.
In other news, North Las Vegas has announced a free, family-friendly outdoor movie series that will be hosted at parks throughout the area. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. with movies beginning at dusk on their designated nights. North Las Vegas’ Movie Madness schedule features various movies from Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank to DC League of Super Pets, and the event allows blankets and chairs but prohibits alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, high-back chairs, tables, and umbrellas.
