Clark County School District Finalizes Budget for 2024-2025 School Year

The Clark County School District (CCSD) Board of Trustees has approved the final budget for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

State law mandates that the district submit this final budget to the Nevada Department of Taxation by early June.

According to a press release, CCSD anticipates total operating revenues of approximately $3.5 billion for the coming school year.

Employee salaries and benefits account for a significant portion of the budget, at 84% of the general operating fund. The final budget also includes an unassigned ending fund balance of roughly $157 million.
