Death of a Woman Under Homicide Investigation
LAS VEGAS – Saturday night, homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the east valley.
A man was in his vehicle in front of a home in the 4800 block of Ballantine Drive, south of Stewart Avenue and west of North Nellis Boulevard, just before 9 p.m., according to a news release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Multiple occupants in an unidentified car fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him, according to authorities. The suspects fled in their car, and responding medical professionals pronounced the victim dead.
The identification of the victim is pending an examination by the Clark County Coroner’s Office, according to authorities.
