Driver Arrested After Brandishing Firearm at Multiple Vehicles, Police Chase Ensues

LAS VEGAS, NV – A chaotic incident unfolded in the northwest Las Vegas Valley on Saturday afternoon. Police arrested an individual after they allegedly brandished a firearm at multiple vehicles near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and I-15.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) received reports of the dangerous behavior around 12 p.m. When officers attempted to stop the suspect’s vehicle, the driver refused to comply, leading to a short pursuit. Police employed the ‘pursuit intervention tactic’ (PIT maneuver) to disable the vehicle and end the chase.
The suspect was then apprehended without further incident. Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries to officers, the suspect, or any members of the public.
The identity of the suspect has not been released, and the investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
