Driver Hospitalized After Vehicle Strikes Main Water Line in Las Vegas

Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of South Hualapai Way and West Charleston Boulevard.
The collision was reported at approximately 1:30 p.m. Emergency responders arrived to find a vehicle that had struck a main water line, causing flooding in the surrounding area.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Officials stated that impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation as crews work to address the damaged water infrastructure and restore normal conditions in the area.
