Eight Arrested in Las Vegas Child Predator Sting Operation

An undercover operation in the Las Vegas Valley targeting suspected child sexual predators resulted in the arrest of eight individuals, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The multi-agency initiative—conducted over two weeks—was part of the Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and included participation from the FBI, local police departments in Henderson and North Las Vegas, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Nevada Attorney General’s office .

Each faces felony counts of luring a child via computer for a sexual act. All were booked into detention facilities—primarily the Henderson Detention Center—with the exception of one individual processed at the Clark County Detention Center.
Authorities emphasized preventative steps for parents, urging them to monitor their children’s online activities and maintain open dialogue to reduce the risk of abuse .
