The Late-Night Collision Near Lamb Boulevard

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Collision Investigation Section responded to the high-yield incident at approximately 9:33 PM on Sunday, June 28, 2026. According to active traffic dispatches, the crash transpired along the multi-lane arterial roadway of North Las Vegas Boulevard, just west of the North Lamb Boulevard intersection.

Investigators confirmed the young pedestrian was attempting to cross the busy lanes of North Las Vegas Boulevard outside of a designated or marked crosswalk. As the child entered the active travel lanes, they were struck by a westbound 2011 Hyundai Elantra.

Driver Cooperates; Impairment Ruled Out

Emergency medical personnel arrived rapidly on the scene, stabilizing the child before initiating a high-priority transport to UMC’s specialized pediatric trauma unit. Medical officials confirmed the victim is fighting for their life with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai Elantra remained on-site, fully cooperated with arriving traffic units, and submitted to voluntary field screening.
