Fatal Crash in Southeast Las Vegas Valley Claims One Life

LAS VEGAS – In a tragic incident, one person lost their life in a collision that occurred in the southeast Las Vegas valley, as reported by the local police. The incident took place on Sunday around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Russell Road.
According to the Las Vegas police, a pickup truck was traveling southbound on Boulder Highway and approaching Russell Road when a van traveling westbound on Russell Road ran a red light and entered the intersection. The pickup truck collided with the van, resulting in a devastating impact.
Tragically, the driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Following the collision, Boulder Highway was closed in both directions at Russell Road, causing traffic disruptions in the area, as confirmed by RTC Southern Nevada.
