Fatal Crash Involving RTC Bus in North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas, NV – March 20, 2024 – A tragic accident occurred in North Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the death of one person.
The North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) responded to a reported crash near the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Broad Arrow Drive close to Gowan Road at approximately 2:25 pm.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a collision involving a vehicle and a Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) bus. Sadly, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
RTC Southern Nevada has confirmed that MLK Boulevard is currently closed between Gowan Road and Cheyenne Avenue to allow for accident investigation.
