Fatal Shooting Near Las Vegas Boulevard

A man was fatally shot Wednesday night at an apartment complex near Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded around 9:43 p.m. to reports of a shooting, discovering the victim inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities identified 31-year-old Adrian Rhodes as the suspect, alleging he approached the victim from behind and fired a single shot before fleeing. Rhodes was apprehended Thursday and is now booked on an open murder charge.
